Power Apps Badge – Modern Controls



Purpose

A Power Apps badge control is used to display short items of information, such as a person’s initials or a status indicator. It provides a quick way to convey important information to the user without requiring them to read through text.

Options:

= “Outlined”



= “Tint”

Content
Text to show inside of the badge
ContentLanguage
Describes the language used to the audience (e.g. โ€œen-USโ€)
DisplayMode
Selects the mode: Edit, View or Disabled. In Edit mode the user can input values. In View mode the user can only see the values and in Disabled mode the control is greyed-out.

Options:
= DisplayMode.Disabled
= DisplayMode.Edit
= DisplayMode.View
Height
Distance from the top of the control to the bottom
OnChange
Unknown usage.
Visible
Determines whether to show or hide the control
Width
Distance from the left side of the control to the right side
X
Distance from the left edge of the screen to the left side of the control
Y
Distance from the top edge of the screen to the top of the control



How To Use The Power Apps Badge Control

1. Select the badge control in Power Apps studio. Write a text value in the Content property.

Would it be possible to insert the user image from Offce365Users inside the content of this badge? I’ve tried the avatar one, but i can’t maximize the size of the circle and the badge shows the literal URL from my picture.
